  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 c. light cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Beat egg yolks; add cream, salt, nutmeg, lemon juice and parsley (if desired).

    Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Take off fire and stir in butter.

    Serve immediately.
