  • 5 drops liquid smoke
  • 3-4 lb. bone-in pork shoulder roast (if shoulder has a lot of fat, trim)
  • 2 cans (15 oz) white hominy, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 TBS fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
  • Condiments:
  • Shredded Cheddar and /or Jack cheese
  • Cubed avocado
  • Lime wedges
  • Hot sauce
  • Crushed tortilla chips
  • Salsa or diced fresh tomatoes
  • Warm tortillas (flour or corn)
