- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Combine ingredients and cook until thick, then add 2 tablespoons mustard and cool.

2Just before using, add 1/2 cup heavy cream.

3Mayonnaise may be substituted for cream.

4If an individual's diet precludes the use of mayonnaise, condensed milk may be substituted.

5Basic dressing (before cream, mayonnaise, milk) may be stored in refrigerator for weeks.
