  • 5 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. oats
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel
  • 1/2 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/3 c. liquid smoke

Directions

    Mix all and let stand 2 days in the refrigerator.

    Before baking, make into about 6 tight rolls wrapped in foil.

    Bake in pan so sausage can drain as they cook.

    Bake 90 minutes at 350°. Will keep weeks stored in the refrigerator.
