Ingredients
- 1/4 c. honey or sugar
- 3 c. warm water
- 3 pkg. yeast
- 5 tsp. salt
- 9 to 10 c. flour
- 5 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients until yeast is dissolved.

2Add 5 cups of the flour.

3Beat with dough hook or spoon until batter is shiny and smooth.

4Add remaining flour and blend well.

5Pour the oil over the dough and knead until it all is absorbed (but not longer than 3 minutes).

6Cover the bowl with waxed paper and a towel. Set in oven.

7Turn oven to 150° and turn off in 5 minutes.

8Leave oven door shut and let rise for 45 minutes, until double in bulk. Punch down.

9Shape into 2 large or 3 medium loaves and place in buttered loaf pans.

10Return to warm oven.

11Let rise 30 minutes, until double.

12Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

13Remove from pans and cool, covered.
