- 1 yeast cake
- 3 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix well into soft batter.

2Let rise about 1 1/2 hours.

3Add 2 tablespoons melted oleo or oil.

4Add enough self-rising flour until stiff.

5Let rise and punch down.

6Put in pans and let rise until doubled in size.

7Brush top with oleo.

8Bake at 400° for 1/2 hour then 300° until brown, about 1 hour.
