  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 4 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 3/4 c. shortening, melted
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

    Pour in remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix.

    Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake at 425° until brown.
