- 4 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup dry milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 cups rye graham flour
- 4 Tbsp. melted lard
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 7 - 8 cups white flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

2Add remaining ingredients--adding just enough white flour so dough springs back to touch when kneading.

3Cover and let rise until doubled.

4Punch down and let rise again.

5Divide dough into loaves.

6Put into greased loaf pans filling pans about 1/3 full.

7Let rise until 2/3 full.

8Bake at 350 - 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
