- 2 c. honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream butter and honey well.

2Add eggs (beaten), buttermilk and flour sifted with soda, spices and salt.

3Mix well.

4Bake in 2 layers in slow oven at 275° for about 30 minutes.

5Watch closely for honey cake burns easily.

6Can use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
