- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. diced green pepper
- 1 c. tomato puree
- 1 c. whole peeled tomatoes (16 oz.)
- 2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder to taste
- 2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. mild flavored honey
Directions

1In large deep pan, cook meat until it loses its red color. Drain off excess fat.

2Add next eight ingredients.

3Mix well. Bring to boil.

4Cover and simmer 1 hour stirring occasionally. Stir in vinegar and honey.

5Serves 6 to 8.
