- 1/2 cup self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 cup whole wheat self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 6 1/2 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 None egg, lightly beaten
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan with oil.

2Combine flour, sugar and 1 1/2 cups oats. Melt butter and honey over low heat. Let cool slightly then mix in. Whisk together buttermilk and egg then mix in until just combined. Transfer to prepared pan and sprinkle with remaining oats. Bake for 20-25 mins, until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
