- 1 c. butter
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1With mixer beat butter, honey and vanilla till light and fluffy.

2Add flour a cup at a time, beat well after each.

3If dough becomes too stiff to stir, knead remaining flour by hand; work in nuts.

4Pat dough into shortbread mold on ungreased 9 inch cast iron skillet.

5Score the surface with a knife making 24 wedges; with a fork prick deeply into knife score.

6Bake at 350° for 35 - 40 minutes, cool 10 minutes.
