  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 eggs

    Cream shortening and honey.

    Add 2 well beaten eggs.

    Sift flour twice; add soda and spices.

    Gradually add milk and dry ingredients, alternately, into cream mixture.

    Bake in a 350° oven in a large loaf pan.
