Honey Walnut Bread

- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. honey
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Scald milk; stir in honey and sugar.

2Stir over low heat until sugar is melted.

3In a large bowl at slow speed, beat in egg yolks and soft butter.

4Add in thirds the flour with salt and soda; beat 2 minutes.

5Add chopped nuts; mix and pour in bread tin.

6Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 5 minutes in greased and floured pan. Let stand 15 minutes before removing from pan.

7Makes 1 loaf.
