- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 c. water
- 2 pkg. frozen black-eyed peas
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut bacon in small pieces and fry with onions until onions are golden brown.

2Cook rice in 2 cups water; cook black-eyed peas according to directions on package.

4Add butter, salt and pepper and mix well.
