  • 2 cups pork sausage
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup of chopped raw onion
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans black-eyed peas
  • 1 cup water
