- 2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney or pinto beans, drained

1Pan-fry bacon and onion in heavy saucepan until onion

2is tender but not brown. Stir in rice, water, salt, hot pepper sauce and beans. Bring to a boil, cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes or until done. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
