- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. crumbled Blue cheese
- 1 large egg
- 25 slices thin sandwich bread
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
Directions

1Snap off tough ends of asparagus.

2Remove scales with a vegetable peeler.

3Arrange half of asparagus in a steamer basket. Place over boiling water.

4Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender.

5Remove from steamer and place in a single layer on paper towels to cool.

6Repeat procedure.
