- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Remove pan from heat.

3Beat eggs, sugar and vinegar with a fork until blended.

4Add the egg mixture to the bacon drippings and blend with a spoon.

5Return the pan to low heat and stir constantly until thick.

6Overcooking will cause separation.

7Pour hot mixture over spinach, endive or lettuce.
