  • 3 pieces Oranges
  • 3 pieces Lemons
  • 1 ounce Stick Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Allspice
  • 1 1/2 quarts Water
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 4 quarts Apple Cider

Directions

    Squeeze juice from Oranges and Lemons, save

    Put fruit rinds and spices in a pan with the water, cover and simmer for 2 hours

    Strain over the sugar in a pot then add juice, cider and heat thoroughly but do not boil
