- 1 lb. margarine
- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 to 6 c. flour (enough to make a stiff dough)
- 1 Tbsp. red pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grate cheese.

3Let cheese and margarine stand at room temperature until soft, then beat with an electric mixer.

4Add salt and red pepper.

5Add flour, one cup at a time, until mixture is stiff.

6Use a cookie press with different shapes for a more festive appearance. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Biscuits will be yellow instead of brown.
