  • 1 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2/3 c. salad oil
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 small can cream-style corn
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 3 small onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix corn meal and flour; add buttermilk, oil, eggs and corn. Beat; stir in peppers and onions.

    Pour in half batter; sprinkle 1/2 cheese.

    Repeat and bake at 375°.
