Hot Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen crab meat, thawed, drained and chopped (reserve 2 Tbsp. liquid)
  • 2 Tbsp. minced green onion (white part only)
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/3 c. sliced unblanched almonds
  • bread rounds or crackers

Directions

    Mix cream cheese, reserved crab meat liquid, onion, lemon juice, salt and pepper sauce.

    Stir in crab meat.

    Turn into greased shallow baking dish.

    Sprinkle with almonds.

    Bake uncovered at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
