Hot Crab Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. soft butter
  • 1 (5 oz.) jar softened Kraft Old English spread
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/8 tsp. dill weed
  • 1 (6 to 8 oz.) can crabmeat, drained, flaked and picked over to remove membranes and/or shells
  • 1 pkg. (6) English muffins, split in half to make 12 halves

Directions

    Blend butter, cheese and mayonnaise.

    Add garlic, salt, dill and crab.

    Mix well.

    Split muffins into 12 halves.

    Spread mixture evenly on halves.

    Cut each half into 6 triangles.

    May put on baking sheet and freeze at this point and then put into a plastic bag to use on another day.

    Broil until puffed and golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes.

    Serve.

    Can garnish with small shrimp and sprinkle with dill, if desired.
