Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 lb. margarine, softened
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Make a well of flour, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl.

3In center, add beaten eggs, yeast mixture and milk.

4Gradually incorporate dry into wet ingredients until dough forms.

5Knead in the margarine.

6Knead well in bowl. Cover and let rise 2 1/2 hours.

7Punch down gently.

8Cut into 12 pieces.

9Arrange in well greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

10Cover and let rise until doubled.

11Bake at 425° for 15 minutes and at 375° for 20 minutes.
