Ingredients

  • 16 ounces sliced peaches drained
  • 16 ounces pear halves drained, chopped
  • 16 ounces plums purple, drained, pitted
  • 20 ounces pineapple chunks drained
  • 6 ounces maraschino cherries drained
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 16 ounces applesauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

    Combine first six ingredients in 13x9x2-inch casserole.

    Set aside.

    Combine sugar, butter & applesauce in saucepan & heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally.

    Spoon over fruit.

    Sprinkle with brown sugar & pecans.

    Bake at 300 for 1 hour.

    Serve hot. (May be prepared ahead & frozen.

    To serve, thaw overnight in refrigerator.)
