Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. sliced meat
  • 1 + Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 + Tbsp. A.1. sauce
  • 2 tsp. Spanish paprika
  • 2 tsp. hot chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. barbecue powder
  • 2 tsp. sugar (optional)

Directions

    Marinate meat in mixture overnight or at least 12 hours.

    Stir or shake occasionally.

    Dehydrate at 145° for about 4 hours or until done.

    If using a smoker, omit the liquid smoke.

    Use generous spoonfuls of spices.
