  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • plain flour

Directions

    Heat milk until warm.

    Dissolve yeast, sugar and salt in milk. Melt butter.
  3. 3
    Add 1/2 cup to mixture, then add flour to make stiff dough. Put dough on a floured board and roll out and cut in rolls.

    Put in a greased pan.

    Grease top of rolls with butter. Set in warm place and let rise.

    Put in oven and bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    When brown, take out and brush top of rolls with butter.
