- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water; set aside.

2Place milk, sugar, salt and butter in saucepan; heat to lukewarm.

3Pour in bowl; add yeast and then flour.

4Mix well and set in warm place for 15 minutes. Pour out on floured board and pat to 1-inch thickness.

5Cut with cutter; fold over bits of butter (this will take about 2 or more tablespoons of butter).

6Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise 15 minutes in a warm place.

7Place in 400° oven for 10 minutes.
