  • 4 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 c. hot pepper
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 c. salt
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 qt. chopped onion
  • 2 c. white vinegar

Directions

    Combine tomatoes, onion, sugar, salt, garlic cloves and white vinegar.

    Boil slow 4 hours.

    Cook in canner for 45 minutes in hot water bath.

    Makes 16 quarts.
