- 1 medium head cabbage, grated
- 1/4 lb. bacon, cut into tiny pieces
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Grate cabbage.

2Dice onion and mix with cabbage.

3Salt and pepper to taste.

4Fry bacon; drain and reserve bacon grease.

5Add 1 cup of sugar and vinegar to bacon grease and heat to boiling. Taste to see if sweet enough.

6Pour over cabbage while hot and mix.

7Sprinkle with fried bacon.
