- 1 medium size cabbage (2 lb.)
- 6 strips bacon
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Shred cabbage as for cole slaw; set aside.

2Cut bacon in pieces; cook to crispness in large frying pan.

3When done, remove bacon bits, leaving grease.

4To this, add sugar, celery seed, mustard, salt and vinegar.

5When this mixture is very hot, add the cabbage, turning it over until well mixed but not cooked.

6Add bacon bits.

7Serves 4.
