Hot Venison Chili

- 5 lb. ground meat
- chopped bacon to taste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 cans beans
- 3 cans kidney beans
- 1 c. tomato juice
- 1/4 c. hot chili powder
- 1 lb. fresh jalapeno peppers
- 1 jar pickled jalapeno peppers
Directions

1Brown bacon and drain browned venison in bacon grease with onion and garlic.

2Combine all ingredients except the fresh and pickled peppers in a large pot and bring to simmer.

3Chop peppers and saute in bacon grease until tender; drain and add to meat. Simmer for 30 minutes.

4Refrigerate overnight.

5Serve next day.
