- 1 head green cabbage, slivered
- 1 large green pepper, sliced in rings
- 2 medium Spanish onions, sliced in rings
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 3/4 c. salad oil
Directions

1In large bowl, make layers of cabbage, pepper and onions. Sprinkle sugar over top.

2In saucepan, combine mustard, sugar, celery seed, salt, vinegar and oil.

3Bring to full boil while stirring.

4Pour over slaw.

5Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours (overnight is better).

6To serve, toss salad.
