- 2 1/2 c. brown sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. broken nuts
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter and milk.

2Cook in heavy saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves to soft ball stage (238°).

3Cool at room temperature without stirring until lukewarm (110°).

5vanilla.

6Beat

7until mixture holds its shape and loses gloss.

8Add nuts and quickly spread in greased pan.

9Cool and eat and get fat!!
