- 1 lb. medium size shrimp (31 to 35)
- 1 onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. white wine
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 10 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions

1Peel shrimp.

2Add wine, water, cornstarch and salt.

3Mix with shrimp.

4Chop onion.

5Turn to high heat.

6Heat vegetable oil and add shrimp.

7Saute until shrimp changes color.

8Check both sides of shrimp (about 3 minutes).

9Remove shrimp.

10Saute onions 1 minute.

11Add shrimp, sugar and the tomato sauce.

12Remove and stir 1 minute.

13Serve.
