  • 3 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed pineapple with syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. California walnuts, chopped

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Mix beaten eggs and oil; add to dry ingredients.

    Add vanilla, pineapple, bananas and nuts.

    Do not beat.

    Fold and blend gently.

    Bake in three layers for 30 minutes at 350°.
