  • 2 (16 oz.) cans chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 6 to 8 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • pita bread, cut in wedges

Directions

    In a food processor or blender, combine first five ingredients and blend.

    Drizzle in olive oil with processor running.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.
