- 2 cans chickpeas, drained
- 1/2 c. or more tahini (sesame paste)
- 1/3 c. warm water
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- juice of 2 lemons
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. ground cumin seed
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in a food processor fitted with a steel blade.

2Process until smooth.

3Add garlic, salt and cumin. Add more lemon juice to taste if desired.

4Serve as a dip with pita bread or raw vegetables.
