Hungarian Almonds

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 c. whole natural almonds

Directions

    In large bowl beat egg whites until frothy.

    Mix in paprika, garlic salt and cayenne pepper; blend thoroughly.

    Add almonds; toss to coat evenly.

    Spread in single layer on lightly oiled baking sheet.

    Bake in 300° oven 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly toasted.

    Loosen from pan and cool. Stor in airtight container.

    Makes 2 cups.
