- 1 egg
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
- jowl bacon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large can sauerkraut
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 head cabbage
Directions

1Mix egg, beef, onion, rice, salt and bell pepper together and fill cabbage leaves.

2Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with sliced jowl bacon, then spread sauerkraut over this.

3Layer cabbage rolls on top of this and spread with tomato soup.

4Bake, covered, at 350° for 3 hours.
