Hungarian Cheese Dumplings

- 1 lb. creamed cottage cheese
- 2 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
Directions

1Place cheese in bowl.

2Add eggs.

3Mix well.

4Add salt and flour and mix.

5On floured board, knead lightly until smooth and it doesn't stick to hands.

6Drop by spoonfuls into boiling, salted water.

7Cook until dumplings rise to the top or until tender, about 10 minutes.

8Drain.

9Fry onion in butter; pour over dumplings.

10Serve with sour cream.
