Ingredients
- 2 c. very warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- flour (approximately 6 c.)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix warm water, yeast and sugar and let stand 15 minutes until foams.

2Add approximately 2 cups flour, egg and shortening to yeast mixture.

3Then mix in 1 cup more flour and salt.

4Add 2 to 4 cups flour to form soft dough. Coat dough with oil and let rise 3 to 4 hours.

5Turn onto floured surface and knead gently.

6Pinch off dough and roll into balls.

7Put rolls in greased (oil) pan. Coat rolls with oil.

8Let rise 1 hour.

9Bake in unpreheated oven for 20 minutes at 350°.
