- 1 pkg. Adolph's 1 hour stew mix
- 1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3/4 c. beef broth
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. tomato paste
- 3 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. sour cream
- cooked egg noodles, buttered
Directions

1In a 4-quart saucepan, evenly sprinkle stew mix over meat. Pierce with a fork.

2Let stand 2 minutes.

3Add broth, water, onion, tomato paste and seasonings.

4Simmer, covered, 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

5Add sour cream.

6Heat through.

7Do not boil.

8Serve over noodles.
