Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1/4 lb. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. rum
- 1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail or peaches
- 1 Entennman's pound cake
- 1 can Nestle heavy cream, chilled
- maraschino cherries for garnish
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add vanilla, eggs, Nestle cream and rum.

3Throw off excess water from cream after chilling.

4Take 1/3 of mixture, mix with peaches or fruit cocktail.

5Dice cake; place 1/2 layer on bottom of dish.

6Pour fruit on top of cake.

7Add rest of cake on top.

8Pour rest of cream on top of cake.

9Garnish with cherries or crushed nuts.

10Place in refrigerator to chill and serve.
