- 3 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Directions

1Cream sugar and softened margarine.

2Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

3Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and pecans.

4Add to sugar-egg mixture.

5Mix until blended.

6Roll into rolls about 1 1/2-inch in diameter and place and wrap in wax paper or foil.

7Put in the refrigerator at least 4 hours or may be kept in freezer and baked when you want.

8Cut 1/4-inch thick slices and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes in a 425° oven.
