  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 c. flour

    Blend egg, butter and sugars (white and brown) together until blended well.

    Add soda, baking powder and flour.

    Chop pecans in large pieces.

    Add to ingredients.

    Take the ingredients and make rolls and put them in wax paper and refrigerate until cold.

    Cut the cookies 1/4-inch and bake in a 350° oven until lightly brown.
