  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nut meat

Directions

    Mix in order given and shape in a small roll.

    Wrap in wax paper and put in icebox overnight until firm.

    Cut in small slices and bake in oven at 350° for about 10 minutes.
