  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda, in 1 Tbsp. Karo
  • 5 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. cloves
  • 3/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

  1. 1
    Sift the flour with the cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
  2. 2
    Mix as butter cake. Form dough in rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate, slice and bake as needed.
