Icebox Fruitcake(Uncooked)

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine (use at least 1/4 cup real butter)
  • 1 lb. marshmallows
  • 8 oz. candied cherries (4 oz. red, 4 oz. green)
  • 8 oz. candied pineapple (4 oz. red, 4 oz. green)
  • 8 oz. chopped dates
  • 2 c. pecans
  • 1 lb. graham cracker crumbs

Directions

    Melt butter or margarine and marshmallows.

    Mix all other ingredients in a very large bowl.

    Pour melted mixture over these other ingredients.

    Mix well; will have to use hands.

    Divide into 3 portions and shape each portion into a round log.

    Wrap in waxed paper and store in the refrigerator in Pringle potato chip cans.

    (You do not need to chop the fruit and nuts because when you slice it, they will be chopped!)
